Stuff about March

I hurriedly posted the March menu without much comment and I’m not a woman of few words so here are a few of my thoughts on our March offerings.

1 – Boston Cream! Yum Yum Yummy! That’s all I have to say about that.

2 – We put Bailey’s Irish Cream Cake and Thin Mint on Tuesdays so that we will have them on St. Patty’s Day. Strategic folks, we are.

3 – We put Baklava on for Greek Independence Day. Now, many of you may not know that there is such a holiday but having worked for a Greek food manufacturer for years, I am acutely aware of it and celebrate it every year because I LOVE Greek food. So, come in on March 25th, a Wednesday, and celebrate with our Baklava Cupcake. It’s amazing, too. Opa!

4 – We are really excited to have a coconut cupcake on the menu again. Fridays in March include Coco Loco which is coconut cake filled with coconut pastry cream topped with whipped cream and toasted coconut. Delish!

5 – We have been joking that the Red Velvet support group meets here on Thursdays this month. After having Red Velvet every day in February, some of you may be experiencing withdrawals by Thursday when Red Velvet returns. We’ll be here for you!

6 – Lemon is one of my favorites of all time. Our Lemon Cake is so great and its made with sour cream. Mmmmmmmm… The filling is a combination of fresh made lemon curd and our delicious pastry cream. Then it’s topped with lemon buttercream and one of our tart and tasty lemon chips, candied right here.
